Other / current / recent projects and practices

As much as I enjoy ceramic making, it means even more as a source of reflection. The position of being a craftsperson - of studying at the art school, having access to art context - results in reading, writing, and processing the experiences. For me, it also means engaging in (or, organizing) social situations on the intersection of art domain and private life.

It is this meta-layer of craft practice that I’m most interested in, and writing (intrinsically connected with social practice) is currently my main drive. Discovering why and how things happen the way they do; diving both into understanding the conditions of society, and most personal motivations. It might sound terribly broad and existential; yet I believe that dealing with these profound questions and bringing up human vulnerability is an essential work in the cultural field.

I’m a neurodivergent person, with many autistic (and some ADHD) traits. That means that my experience of being in the world and processing it differs from the norm. It might be that not everyone needs to work on understanding the surrounding reality as much as I do. Still, I keep meeting people who find my process and conclusions useful, and that encourages me to continue sharing my process.

So here I am, openly figuring out.
